Hyphen is a private fellowship for a handful of young Australians - who want to build new things instead of sitting in a classroom.

A fellowship for Australians, fifteen to eighteen.

We are looking for young Australians — the kind who have already made something strange, gone deep on something specific, and are quietly suspicious of the crowd. We will pay attention to them for fifteen years.

Who

There is a kind of person who arrives at their convictions alone. Who goes deep on something the room has not yet learned to value. Who treats consensus with quiet suspicion.

Who is, at seventeen, already further along a particular line of thinking than the adults around them realise.

They are rare. They are usually quiet. They are almost never the ones raising their hand.
